Artur is an AI personal assistant operated by Colin Forward for personal scheduling and invited household use. This policy explains how Artur uses information when coordinating appointments and working with connected Google calendars.
Information Artur accesses
After an account owner authorizes Google access, Artur can identify the connected account by its email address, list its calendars, check free/busy information, and access calendar events. Event information may include titles, dates, times, locations, descriptions, organizers, and participants. Artur also processes messages and contact details supplied for a scheduling request.
The Google connection requests identity, calendar-list, event, and availability permissions. It does not request access to Gmail messages or Google Drive files. The event permission is broader than the current tools, which read events and create authorized bookings; it is not an instruction to change or delete other events.
How information is used
Information is used to understand scheduling instructions, check conflicts, propose times, create requested events or reminders, and verify the result. Artur uses selected calendars for availability and creates entries in the intended calendar. Private event details are not needed when simply offering available times to someone else.
Processing and sharing
Artur runs through Hermes Agent on Colin’s computer. Relevant conversation content and calendar tool results may be processed by the AI service providers configured in Hermes to carry out a request. This is not a promise that all processing stays on the computer. Google processes calendar requests, and WhatsApp processes messages exchanged through its service.
Scheduling details may be shared with the intended correspondent or calendar guests when authorized. Entries placed in a shared calendar are visible to people who already have access to that calendar. Artur does not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to develop or train generalized AI models. Google user data is used only to provide or improve the requested scheduling functionality, consistent with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Storage and retention
Google authorization tokens are stored separately for each account in files restricted to the local operating-system user. Calendar events remain in Google Calendar. Conversation history, local booking receipts, and backups may retain information about requests and results until deleted by Colin. There is currently no automatic retention deadline. Service providers may also retain information under their applicable terms and settings.
This public website contains no calendar data or authorization tokens and has no account sign-in or submission form. It does not include advertising or analytics scripts. Its hosting provider, Cloudflare, may process routine request information such as IP addresses and security logs to deliver and protect the site.
Your choices
An account owner may revoke Artur’s access at any time through Google Account connections. Revocation stops future authorized access; it does not delete events already saved or information already retained in local history. To request deletion of local Artur data or discuss an existing calendar entry, contact Colin. Google Calendar also provides controls for deleting events and managing calendar sharing.
Contact and changes
For privacy questions or deletion requests, email [email protected]. Material changes to how Google data is used will be disclosed before that new use begins, with additional consent where required.
